I am a 32-year banker with the last 27 years with U.S. Bank based in Cincinnati, OH. My roles at the bank included Commercial Banking, the multi-state market manager overseeing branches and commercial banking teams, M&A specialist of failed bank acquisitions; Chief Risk Officer of a major business line. I ended my banking career in 2017 and worked as a consultant for the Consumer Bankers Association in DC and then an international Financial Services Consulting firm also in DC throughout 2018. 

My family has been living in St. Augustine since 2011.

In early 2019, I co-founded Vigeo Alliance, LLC which is a consulting firm specializing in leadership development with an emphasis on developing diverse leadership teams in any organization. 

In July 2021, I joined North Avenue Capital, which is a private equity firm based in Ponte Vedra specializing in USDA financing across the U.S.

 

Christina Candler is a hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience in Florida at luxury golf and beach resorts. A true St. Augustine native, she enjoys sharing her city's history, culture, and pristine beaches with you and your guests.

St. Augustine Beach Police Administrative Lieutenant Kathi Harrell was selected by the Chief of Police in August 2014. Lt. Harrell is an experienced non-sworn law enforcement veteran with over 22 years’ experience. She serves as the FDLE Terminal Tac Coordinator, FALCON Administrator,  SMARTCOP liaison, supervises crime prevention programs, volunteers, interns, management of the Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation process & responsible for the overall admin operations. 

Lt. Harrell has an A.S. Degree  from Vincennes University and completing her  B.S. Degree in 2020. She graduated from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Leadership Academy & attended the Florida Police Chief’s Association Core Training Levels I & II for Administrative/Executive Assistants.

Lt. Harrell and her husband have been married for over 20 years and have two adult children who are both serving in the US Armed Forces.

The last 30 years I spent in the corporate world prepared me in so many ways for my next adventure.  I always dreamed of opening a business which could in some way serve the community.  Praying for such direction, I received a clear vision in 2018 to open a craft mall which is when Coconut Barrel "The Artisan Market" was born.  In the 2 years we have been open, we have expanded from 4,000 to 9,000 sq. ft., added a weekly farmers market and a food truck park for Food Trucks to serve lunch.  We also have craft classes, pop-up boutiques and other events throughout the year.
