Hurricane Preparedness Kelly Wilson, Emergency Management
Join us for our first in-person luncheon in over a year! Hurricane season is June 1 through November 30. After last years active season, be sure your business and employees are prepared by joining Chamber at Noon featuring Kelly Wilson as she will discuss best practices to implement the season. Be prepared with tools and tips to keep you, your family, and your business safe.
Kelly Wilson has served St. Johns County since 2006, beginning as the Emergency Management Planner, Emergency Management Coordinator and now as the Deputy Director of Emergency Management. Ms. Wilson specializes in Comprehensive Emergency Management Planning including hazard mitigation planning and continuity of operations planning. She also maintains their social media presence and coordinates public outreach to the community. Prior to coming to St. Johns County, she served as the Planner for the City of Key West specializing in land use planning. Her educational background includes a Masters of Science from the University of South Florida with a focus in environmental science.
The Chamber is following the current CDC guideline regarding gathering in indoor and outdoor spaces. In addition, the Chamber is following the guidelines set by the host facility for this event. According to Hilton Garden Inn - Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra, masks are required in common areas but can be removed in the meeting room.
